Mr. Steven Ng

Founder / Patent Consultant

He graduated form University of Malaya with BSc.(Hons) in 1992 and later he further with MBA from University of Dubuque Iowa, USA in 1996.

A soft-matter yet strong-minded engineer is one of Malaysia foremost experts in his field and has contributed to the understanding of electronic document security, RFID smart label solution and its potential usage. Being exposed to the engineering line for years, he is not only technically capable to lead projects, but also has the ability to bring diverse groups on board – junior reps and heavy-hitters, supply-chain managers and corporate heads, field staff and executives alike. He currently also act as technical consultant for a few Multinational Company.

In 1997, he ventures into security IT Industrial and later jointly developed the first electronic passport for Malaysia Immigration Department. Another successful achievement which made all Malaysian proud would be his contribution to develop the first Multipurpose National Identity Card, namely MyKad, a chip based smart card for the National Registration Department.

 

Ms Huey Wong

Director

Wong Huei Niang (Huei Wong) is a graduate in LL.B (Hons) from the University of London and qualified in Certificate in Legal Practice. She was called to the Malaysian Bar in 1996. She is a registered patent, trade mark and industrial designs agent since 2000. She worked in several legal firms, IP firms for nearly 2 decades. She specialises in patent and trademark portfolio management, strategic management of their worldwide registration, protection and commercialisation. She also assisted multinational companies with contracts. She assists companies by advisory work for long-term planning and actualisation of profits. She assists clients to bring action or solve highly contested matters involving IP dispute matters and IP litigation matters. Currently she is running her own firm and is passionate about legal aid matters and buidling the next generation of young members to build a better environment for IP commercialisation and building value.

 

SK Wong

Siew Kuen graduated with a degree from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Previously she was in the banking industry for 10 years with the Loans and Business Banking Division. She joined Veridoc in March 2010 overseeing the Accounting and Finance Department.

 

Ivan

Ivan Choong is an alumni of the University of Manitoba with a specialization in International Business and Psychology. He ventured in the F&B and Manufacturing industries in Canada, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Having a diverse experience with people from different backgrounds, he joined Veridoc in March 2014 to oversee the Human Resource and Administration Department.
